Professor Saurav Goel practices various aspects of manufacturing in the Mechanical Engineering Division of London South Bank University, United Kingdom. He is among the top 2% of scientists in the World (List issued by Stanford University). Prof Goel is an EPSRC Early Career Forum (ECF) member and Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mines (IoM3), UK. He is an Associate Director of the EPSRC NetworkPlus in "Digitalised Surface Manufacturing" (EP/S036180/1) which is a major initiative of the UK Government originating from the University of Manchester. Before his move to LSBU, Prof Goel worked at Cranfield University where he was contributing to the success of the EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Ultra-Precision Engineering(EP/L016567/1) led by the Institute of Manufacturing (IfM), University of Cambridge. Currently, Prof Goel is an Associate Editor for several Q1 Journals such as Journal of Manufacturing ProcessesJournal of Advanced Manufacturing SystemsBioMaterials and Polymers HorizonsNanofabrication and an Editorial Board member for two journals namely Journal of Micromanufacturing and Machines.
